Services We Provide
Helping Hands of Putnam County is a nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance to individuals and families facing poverty or crisis. Our services include food, utilities, medical expenses, rent, and gas vouchers for out-of-county medical appointments. We are committed to supporting those in need and helping them overcome challenges.
What We Do
We provide the following services to low-income families and families in emergency situations in Putnam County. We are open 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm, Monday through Friday, by appointment only. Please call 931-526-3838 to make an appointment.
Food
We provide emergency food to low-income families in Putnam County.
Utilities
We provide emergency financial assistance with utility bills.
Rent
We provide emergency financial assistance with rent.
Gas Vouchers
We provide gas vouchers for out of town medical appointments.
Prescription Medication
We provide financial assistance with prescription medications that are not controlled substances.
